Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Based on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the eastern with the wild west in an awesome game for beginning level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the house, not like most other poker games that gamblers bet against other players. By competing against the dealer, beginning players do not need to worry about any other, more knowledgeable players taking their mulla.

A further Pai Gow edge is the generally leisurely game pace, rookies are able to take their time and plan while not having to make hasty choices.

It’s also simpler to play for a long time with only a little amount of cash seeing as, to not win, both of your hands needs to be under both of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the house is given seven cards face down.

One five card hand and one 2 card hand must be put together from the seven cards, the five card hand has to be stronger than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be better than the dealer’s.
